/// Biography ///
Born in 1989 in the Nord department of France, Anagruz has been drawing since she was a child. A self-taught painter, she began painting after studying engineering and started exhibiting her canvases in 2016.
A passionate horsewoman and lover of animal life, she quickly specialized in animal art, initially painting African animals and then species from around the world in acrylic.
Determined to convey the animal's attitude while evoking its mystery, its strength mixed with delicacy, she combines realism and abstract art, resulting in powerful works.
From her engineering studies, she retains a passion for materials and innovates with her crackle technique, which she developed, and more recently with the use of charred wood.
She has received several painting awards and is committed to animal welfare. She participates in charity exhibitions in France and Belgium, as well as auctions benefiting organizations dedicated to protecting endangered species worldwide. She recently met Paul Watson and regularly speaks at conferences about the animal world and its conservation.
