Frank colors, graphic cuts, undulating black lines, Moyoshi affixes his style to the walls from Paris to Shanghai. Self-taught jack of all trades, he likes to muddy the waters, play with the codes of graffiti and improvise. Instinctive! His favorite theme? Nature, this original force which watches over the concrete while waiting to regain its rights over modern civilization. Sometimes flirting with the abstract, his plotting style sometimes evokes foliage, a stream, plumage or a steep rock: organic elements that creep into our streets, arousing the curiosity of passers-by. The eye motif also returns regularly, the observer of an ever-changing society in which art sometimes seems to be the last bastion of freedom.
