/// Biography of JAERAYMIE ///

JAËRAYMIE is a Parisian street artist born in Paris in 1986, lives and works in Paris. He started practice of urban art in 2016.Street Artist adepts of collage and stencil, he intervenes in the public space to surprise passers-by, make them react to a news, transmit an emotion or simply make smile.  He participated to the hijacking of electoral posters in Paris to remind the public that it is important to vote. It was during the presidential campaign 2017. This serie of posters was relayed by media such as BFM TV, Le Figaro.Fr, Figaro.fr culture, 20minutes.fr, Huffington Post, France 3 Grand Soir...  He is the author of the aphorism «Le romantisme, c’est un truc de bonhomme» what we can translate in « to be a good guy, be a romantic guy » by which he denounces machism as a demonstration of virility, inviting men to be gentlemen with women. This sentence is accompanied by images of famous movies in wich he has removed the revolvers by red roses. It is with this stencils and the serie of collage of the "club of the romantics" that he beggins to be better known via social networks. Then , he created the series "idioms"... Oscillating between lightness and gravity in this subjects, he is never aggressive or peremptory. His works bring a singular, skewed, ironic and paradoxical view on our society.
