/// Biography of NADEGE DAUVERGNE ///
Nadège Dauvergne was born in 1973 in Ouagadougou and grew up in the Parisian suburbs. She studied graphic arts and fine arts. She has always drawn with ease, and it completely absorbs her. Nature, her primary source of inspiration, makes her want to understand in depth what she observes. It was only natural that after her art studies she took courses in scientific drawing. Later, her subjects diversified, but nature always reappeared in her work. She quickly mastered numerous techniques, from oil painting to spray paint. But her artistic choices soon crystallized around a drawing method based on optical mixing. She excels in this technique, which she developed and perfected into a unique and instantly recognizable style: a succession of colored hatchings that ultimately combine in the viewer's eye into a vibrant and luminous color, impossible to achieve with a tube of paint. Her preferred themes are nature and playing with artistic movements and historical periods, which she reinvents to integrate them into 21st-century art. Nadège Dauvergne is a key figure in the world of street art and has created numerous large-scale murals in France.
